Zelda: A Link Between Worlds shares Majora's Mask connection

We'd already spotted Majora's Mask neatly sat on a lone shelf in Ravio's Shop, but Eiji Aonuma has shared that The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will have a more significant connection to the Nintendo 64 title than that. Once again pleaded for information as to Nintendo's stance toward revisiting Majora's Mask during his panel at New York Comic Con yesterday, Aonuma pointed to the incoming release of A Link Between Worlds in response. 'First off, I want to say that A Link Between Worlds looks awesome,' the fan began. 'My question is kind of a shot in the dark: I like when Zelda gets really gritty and dark. I know you produced Wind Waker and this new game, but I wonder if you have any information on Majora's Mask at all, because that was my all-time favorite Zelda game. (Crowd cheers). Please say you'll make this [for] Wii U.' Eiji Aonuma initially paused, before replying: 'If you play A Link Between Worlds, you may get an answer. You might find some information.' Cue the rumour mill sparking up, but the arrival of the Nintendo 3DS exclusive now can't come soon enough. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will release for Nintendo 3DS across Europe and North America on November 22nd. [Thanks IGN]
